ABOUT ME

BELIEF #1

Every Mother Deserves to Be Seen, Heard, and Supported

I believe every woman deserves compassionate, respectful, and culturally responsive care throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. No mother should have to fight to have her concerns taken seriously.

BELIEF #2

Education Is a Powerful Tool for Change

I believe knowledge saves lives. When individuals, families, and communities have access to the right information, they are better equipped to make informed decisions, advocate for themselves, and improve health outcomes.

BELIEF #3

Lasting Change Happens When Communities and Systems Work Together

I believe improving maternal health requires more than individual action. It requires collaboration between families, healthcare providers, community organizations, and policymakers to create sustainable systems that support every family.

MY STORY

This Work Is Personal

I was born and raised in Haiti, where I witnessed firsthand how access to healthcare, education, and resources can shape the health and well-being of entire communities.

Those early experiences planted a seed that would later grow into a lifelong commitment to public health and health equity.

After moving to the United States, I pursued degrees in Healthcare Administration and Public Health, determined to better understand the systems that influence health outcomes and how they can be improved.

As a mother, I understand that health is never just about medical care. It is about having access to information, support, advocacy, and resources during life's most vulnerable moments.

Throughout my career, I have worked with families, community organizations, and healthcare partners to address disparities and strengthen systems of care. Yet one issue continues to demand urgent attention: Black maternal health.

Today, through Casimir Public Health Empowerment, I help organizations and communities develop solutions that improve maternal health outcomes through education, advocacy, workforce development, and systems change.

My mission is simple:

To ensure that every family has access to the knowledge, support, and resources they need to thrive.

Because healthier mothers build healthier families, and healthier families build stronger communities.
